What a fun weekend with my oldest! My mom and sister took Ava and I to St. George for the weekend (our birthday presents) to see Hairspray the musical. We met up with my cousin Danielle and her daughter as well. It was such a quick trip but we had the most amazing time! Ava really enjoyed being 'the only child' and she loved seeing her first show! This will definitely become a tradition for us.

We've been on vaca! And then we moved. Yes, rediculous really but we love the house so very much and it was worth it. We're still not unpacked yet but it's coming along. I finally have the internet back up and going so here are some pics from our week on Catalina Island.
I cannot wrap my head around the fact that she is already 7 months old! Excuse me?
This one is pretty much my favorite right now. She has the sweetest personality, softest little heart and cracks me up at every turn. oh my, she just is IT for me right now! Love this stage!
OK fine....I love them all the same. We had a fun week with cousins and my kids were spoiled like nobody's business! Poppa treated to ice cream EVERYDAY! And sometimes twice a day!
AND this lovely lady made the trip down and made my life so much better. She knows exactly how things run in my world and she helps me so much. Cora was more than happy to be held 24/7! The best treat was having her there for the last part of the week!
So now I am still unpacking and throwing in pool time and beach days. The two Bigs got a cold so now Cora has it and its yucky! No fever yet but she can hardly breath tonight. :( She's strong though so I'm hoping another day or two and she'll be back to normal.
Getting more pictures from our trip this week (from my Dad's computer) so I'll have more to share. Our annual trek to the Island did not dissapoint!

I don't think I ever shared these pics of the girls that we had taken when Cora was 7 days old. Wow how time really does fly!
This feels like a life time ago! I wasn't thrilled about getting my picture taken 7 days after delivering a baby but I'm so glad that we did this. There is nothing like documentation and the passage of time. Truly a double edged sword!

Ava had a routine Cardiac Cath this week and while the procedure went well, there were a few minor issues which required a hospital stay. It's been years since we've actually been admitted for an overnight stay so things were a little rough at times. I wasn't planning on staying so we had a lot of juggling to do but it all worked out in the end. Bailey and Cora are both pretty laid back about change in schedules and Mommy being gone which was so incredibly helpful. Ava needed me every minute of the 2 day ordeal and knowing my other 2 were able to roll with it made my heart feel at ease! Ken stepped up and was super Dad and my Mother-in-Law came over to do the laundry I couldn't finish and the dishes! What blessings!
In all of the summer time fun we've been having I completely forgot about the appointment that was made over 2 months ago. We were sitting at the beach on Monday with my Cousins and in conversation about Ava's heart I totally remembered! DOH! So we left the house at 4:30am to be in Orange and checked in by 5:30am. Ava slept the whole way which was so nice. Less time for anxiety to take hold.
It was so hard to see her so upset about this. The nurses were very understanding and she was actually able to get a decent nights sleep. Her tests in the afternoon were all good so we were checked out early the next morning. We took it easy that day and by Friday she was back to her old self!
We went to visit my Grandma on Friday in her new place. She looked so good and the girls were being very silly. I love the look on my Grandma's face in the background. Priceless. Ken had sent the girls a goofy picture in a text so we had to return the favor!
Today Ava was back in the pool and jumping on the trampoline so life as we know as returned to normal! Hooray!

We started school in Arizona in early August and 5,000 years later she finished school in California at the end of June. I was so trunky that I started letting her take Lunchables to school....blah, gag! Worst mom ever but she thought it was the best thing ever so that's how it went. Now if I can just get through this week of Dance recital prep then we will be in full swing for summer!

To me she's changed a lot even though these pics might not reflect that. And yes, I purposely put her in the same shirt. :) That's the beauty of a slow growth kid!

All I wanted was one cute picture of my sweet, angelic, always well behaved sometimes difficult children and their Father. Apparently, that is just too much to ask for! In their defense we were just getting home from Church, everyone was hungry, Ava was expecting some "alone time" in her room for sassing her Father and Cora was ready for a nap. Ok, Ok....I really should just be happy with what I got!
Really Ava?
These weren't even taken with a high end rapid fire camera! She had to think about the timing of each one of these amazing poses! NICE!
Lucky for us she snapped out of her sassy mood and we had a great day! Spent the afternoon with my family and the girls had fun seeing their cousins. Ken was spoiled with a few gifts, nap time and lots of hugs and kisses from these littles. It was a very good day!
And next time I'll rethink the timing of my request for a picture. Lesson learned.

Whoa...that was the longest blog break EVUH! Life has been pretty crazy and I really didn't think it would take me this long to 'adjust' to having 3 little kiddos! I'm not even sure where to begin? So I just found some random pictures to get the ball rolling.
My 3 littles on our way to Church.
Beezus turned 3 and at the time was very 'into' Cars so she got Mater and Lighting McQueen for her gifts. She took them everywhere we went for weeks!
Cora is growing up way to fast. She is the best baby and very good with all of the attention she gets on a daily basis.
These little girls LOVE being outside and playing with their babies. They are getting pretty comfortable in our neighborhood and sometimes I find them picking flowers in the neighbors yard. Ava has a love of snails and rolly polly bugs. GROSS!
Of course we spend a lot of time at the beach and these girls couldn't be happier!
See! I told you she was growing way too fast!
School is almost out for Ava and these next few weeks are jam packed! Everyone is healthy and life is just plain ol busy! I promise to not be so neglectful of this poor blog! I took away the password stuff so no need to remember any of that. I will also fill in on the past few months as best as possible!
